Justin Slieff

An Alpena woman was stabbed in the back during an argument with Justin Slieff, 31, of Hillman, according to police. According to a news release, the 24-year-old woman arrived at the MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena emergency room on May 28 with a report that Slieff stabbed her with an unknown object when she turned her back on him during a fight at his home. According to police, the stabbed woman began punching Slieff, then blacked out. When she awoke, the woman called a friend for a ride to the hospital.

Police arrested Slieff at his home and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon. He was released from the Montmorency County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
