The Alpena Garden Club met at 19th hole for its annual Christmas party. Serving as hostesses were Lois Trudeau, Jacinta Boyk and Barb Kwiatkowski. A generous donation was sent to the pre-nurses program at the Alpena Community College and names were chosen to receive Christmas gifts, which included ceramics, Christmas trees, and gift cards. The meeting ended by playing Christmas bingo. The club’s meetings will resume in April.
