ALPENA – We are pleased to announce that Jaxtyn Palmer, a talented 2nd grade author at Hinks Elementary, has been officially published in the 2025-2026 edition of Kaleidoscope.

Kaleidoscope is a prestigious annual young-authors journal sponsored by the Michigan Reading Association. It celebrates outstanding K-12 writers across the entire state by selecting only a top handful of student pieces for publication each year.
