BOYNE FALLS–The Atlanta volleyball team went wire-to-wire in its season opener, but came out on the winning end.

The Huskies triumphed over Boyne Falls in five sets on Tuesday, winning 25-13, 18-25, 25-21, 19-25 and 15-6.

Chase Hooper had nine aces and nine kills for the Huskies and Jaidha Chippa had four aces, three digs and two kills.

Marisa Perry had three aces, four kills and two digs and coach Dawn McSwain praised the two-way play of Gabby Parker and Tanaysja Tidwell.
