Tony Suszek

ATLANTA — Tony Suszek will serve as Atlanta Community Schools superintendent for the next two years, the district announced on Tuesday.

Suszek has served as interim superintendent for the district since late 2021 following the retirement of Carl Seiter as dual superintendent of Atlanta and Hillman school districts.

Pam Rader has filled the interim superintendent position for Hillman Community Schools since Seiter’s departure.

Suszek will work part-time as superintendent, aided by newly hired part-time assistant superintendent Susan Grulke.

Contracts for Suszek and Grulke run through June 30, 2024.
