Nowak, Mitchell win Municipal Council seats
ALPENA — Incumbent Mike Nowak has been reelected to the Alpena Municipal Council and newcomer Danny Mitchell has won a seat on the Alpena Municipal Council after both earned more votes than a third candidate, Mark Hunter, according to unofficial results.
The three-way race was for two open seats on the council.
