Church celebrates 1st anniversary

Fresh Water Bible Church recently celebrated its first anniversary. It also has announced a new location and a new schedule.

Led by Pastor Matt Leavesley, the church now meets in the former Living Hope Church building at 2086 Werth Road. Christmas Eve service will be held at 6 p.m., then starting Dec. 31, the church will begin holding its morning worship service at 10:45 p.m. There will be no more evening services.

Starting Jan. 7, an Adult Sunday School will be offered at 9:30 a.m.

Bring a Lunch & Learn a Bunch starts up Jan. 7. This session will take place 15 minutes after the end of each Sunday service. It will begin with showing a 30 minute DVD lesson taught by various Biblical scholars, followed by a brief 15 minute Q&A. The first topic will be “Christian Apologetics.”

All are invited and encouraged to bring a sack lunch if they would like something to eat during that time.

A Wednesday evening Kidz Bible Club for children ages four years through fifth grade will begin on Jan. 10. and run from 6-7:30 p.m. Leavesley also will facilitate an interactive Bible Study Class on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. for adults and teenagers interested in digging deeper into the Bible.
