ALPENA – On June 11, from 2-3 p.m. at the Alpena County Library, Ben Traverse will play songs our parents’ parents’ parents sang while growing up. There will be play parties, game songs, sing-alongs, and more.

Through this program, participants will not only enjoy the music but will also learn about the historical and cultural contexts under which the music came into this world.
