League of Women Voters encourages voters to Use VOTE411.org before Aug. 4 primary
ALPENA – As the August 4 Primary Election approaches, the League of Women Voters of Northeast Michigan (LWVNEMI) encourages area voters to visit VOTE411.org, a free, nonpartisan online voter guide designed to help citizens make informed decisions before heading to the polls.
Created by the League of Women Voters Education Fund in 2006, VOTE411.org is a one-stop resource for trusted election information. The website provides accurate, unbiased information to help voters participate confidently in every election.
Before Primary Election Day on Tuesday, August 4, voters can use VOTE411.org to:
· Verify their polling place
· View a personalized sample ballot
· Learn about local candidates and ballot proposals
· Review voter registration and ID requirements
· Make a plan to vote
