Darcy Schuchert and Nicolas Donakowski exchanged their wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony June 8, 2013, at the Dreams Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is the daughter of Debra Schuchert of Livonia. The groom is the son of Rick and Sherry Donakowski of Alpena.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Dreams Resort.

Darcy is employed by Farmer’s Insurance as a litigation adjuster in Livonia. Nicholas is currently employed by Doubletake Studios as vice president and graphic designer in Plymouth. They are residing in Livonia.
