ALPENA — Remembering Our Children will be hosting their annual walk at 10 a.m. on June 20 beginning at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel near Little Flanders Field.

The walk is done each year for families that have lost children of any age.

The walk will last for about one hour. The walk will stop at the Tree of Remembrance where butterflies will be released and then walkers will go back to the fairgrounds. A short gathering and light refreshments will be provided after the walk. Feel free to wear a T-shirt with a picture of your child. Please bring an umbrella in case of rain and bring foldable chairs. The walk will go one rain or shine. There will be a porta potty available.
