ALPENA — Alpena County Library will be hosting a variety of computer classes in January and February at 211 N. 1st Ave., Alpena.

Registration for these free classes is required by either visiting the library’s website at alpenalibrary.org, or by calling 989-356-6188, ext. 20.

Intro to Windows 11 will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 27. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of running a device with Windows 11.

Basic File Management will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 3. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of organizing and utilizing file management on electronic devices.

Internet Safety will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 10. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of computer and internet safety.

Cloud/Google Docs will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 24. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of utilizing devices, cloud services, and Google Docs.

How to Use Your iPad/iPhone will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 20. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of working with and using devices like iPads and iPhones.

How to Use Your Android Device will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 27. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of working with and using devices from Android.

How to Use Libby will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 16. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of using ACL’s digital library resources to access audiobooks and eBooks.

How to use Kanopy will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 23. Join the Alpena County Library’s tech specialist as she teaches participants the basics of accessing and using the library’s movie streaming service.
