Mikaela Bannon wins Miss Wayne County 2024
REDFORD — Mikaela Bannon just won Miss Wayne County 2024 on Sunday, Aug. 11 in Redford, Michigan.
She is the daughter of William and Missy Bannon of Rogers City. Mikaela Bannon resides in Canton.
Mikaela Bannon won $1,075 in scholarship money toward future college use.
Additional awards that she won include The People’s Choice Award, Miss Congeniality, and the On-Stage Interview Award, along with the title.
She will compete in Muskegon for Miss Michigan in June 2025. This will be her third trip to vie for Miss Michigan.
She has been actively involved in the Miss America organization since she was 13 years old and decided to compete for the fun of having a new experience and meeting new friends. She been honored to win titles such as Miss Sunrise Side’s Teen 2015, Miss Huron Shores’ Teen in 2017, Miss West Michigan’s Teen in 2019. She also won First Runner-up honors during Miss Michigan’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship program in 2019. After she aged out from the teen competition; she we went on to win her first Miss title, Miss Shoreline 2020.
