ALPENA – According to Chelsea Engle, District Health Department No. 4 (DHD4) administrative health officer, there were nine confirmed cases of cyclosporiasis in the DHD4 coverage area as of Friday afternoon.

Below are the confirmed case counts in each county DHD4 serves:

Alpena County – five cases

Montmorency County – zero cases

Cheboygan County – one case

Presque Isle County – three cases
