Disability Network offers online groups

Peer support is one of the core services at Disability Network, which strives to support engagement and relationship building as peer groups help prevent social isolation by connecting with others during the pandemic. Men’s Group

Men’s group is from 10 to 11 a.m. on Mondays, starting May 3.This group is for men seeking support, an opportunity to learn new skills and a chance to connect with other men with disabilities.

Women’s Group, Sharing Herstory

Women’s group is from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays, starting May 3. We all may be feeling a bit isolated and confused during this unprecedented time. This is a virtual meeting for women with disabilities.

Quarantine Cooking

Quarantine cooking will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting May 4. Learn how to prepare and cook food using different adaptable tools, making cooking accessible for all.

Peer Advocacy Group

Peer advocacy group meets from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursdays, starting May 6. Learn how to advocate for your needs and the needs of others. Learn leadership skills. Voice what is important to you.

Parent Network

Join in for parent network at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 27. Disability Network’s Parent Network guides families with youth and adults with disabilities to the many supports available through health care and educational resources.

Virtual Accessible Gaming Social Groups

Disability Network is excited to share the Virtual Accessible Gaming Social Group as a way for people with disabilities to connect online and play together.
