Wolverine State Credit Union held a food drive and collected donations for a couple weeks to raise money for the community soup kitchen, The Friendship Room. With the increased costs of packaging all the meals “to go,” the credit union collected money from staff and members to purchase a Gordon Food Services gift card to help with the increased costs. Wolverine State Credit Union staffers said they were glad they were able to collect food and money and hope to make a small difference in our community.
