Alpena – The Boys & Girls Club of Alpena is proud to announce its 100th anniversary signature event, the Great Futures Gala, taking place on May 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the APLEX. This milestone celebration honors a century of service and impact for youth across Northeast Michigan.

The Great Futures Gala will bring together community members, businesses, and supporters for an evening of celebration and purpose. The event will feature a reverse raffle, silent and live auctions, and meaningful mission moments highlighting the voices and experiences of local youth.

For 100 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Alpena has provided a safe place, caring mentors, and life-changing opportunities for young people. Today, the organization serves over 1,800 youth annually through programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character and leadership development.

Proceeds from the event will directly support these programs, helping ensure that every young person has access to the tools and support they need to reach their full potential.
