Art in the Loft’s ‘H20’ juried art show winners announced

ALPENA — The winners of Art in the Loft’s “H20” juried art exhibition have been announced.
Chuck Schroeder won Best of Show for his pen and ink and colored pencil drawing, “Belle Isle.”
Sean McLain won second place for his photograph, “Liquid Luster.”
Beverly Wolf earned third place for her photograph, “Bond River in Autumn Dress.”
Steven Jakubcin earned an honorable mention for his photograph, “Wave at Starlight Beach.”

Eugene Cambre earned an honorable mention for his photograph, “Changing of the Guard.”
The show, judged by Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary Superintendent Jeff Gray, is open for viewing through Nov. 14 at Art in the Loft in downtown Alpena. All pieces are for sale as well.
Art in the Loft’s fifth annual juried art exhibit, “H2O,” features 89 pieces from 47 artists, all with the theme of water.
