Senior center lunch on Sunday

Alpena Senior Citizens Center Sunday Lunch is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, with sausage gravy and biscuits, hash browns, scrambled eggs and warm applesauce.

The cost is a suggested donation of $3.50 for those 60 and up, and $7 charge for those under 60.

White Pines Quilt Guild meets at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 201 N. 2nd St. in Harrisville.

Koeze nut sale starts Monday

The annual Koeze Nut Sale begins Monday at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday now through Dec. 20. Raffle tickets will be available for the Opulent Nut Basket valued at $400, to be awarded Dec. 20.

All proceeds will support facility upgrades, advanced technology and patient care at the hospital.
