Easter egg hunt Saturday at Northern Lights Arena

Children ages 9 and younger are invited to come out to Northern Lights Arena at 10 a.m. Saturday for an Easter egg hunt.

This free event is sponsored by 107.7 The Bay and McDonald’s.

There will be giveaways, candy, colored Easter eggs and the Easter Bunny.

Doors open at 9 a.m.

LWV Lunch Bunch today

The League of Women Voters of Alpena County invites anyone interested to Lunch Bunch, an informal monthly lunch discussion of current issues and topics of interest.

The group meets at noon today at the 19th Hole, 1081 U.S.-23 North in Alpena.

Alpena NAMI formation team to meet Tuesday

The Alpena Area NAMI formation team will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at ACC’s Besser Technical Center Room 107D.

Attendees should bring nominations for officers to this Tuesday’s meeting.

Hillman VFW met April 4

At the regular April 4 meeting of Hillman VFW Post 2356, 11 members were present. On Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, the VFW will hold a new and used item auction at Patchwood Plaza. New officers will be sworn in at the May 2 meeting, to be at 6 p.m.
