Grateful for the great care at Alpena hospital

I recently had a total knee replacement at My Michigan Medical Center Alpena. I would like to inform you of my experience. First of all, between my wife and myself, we have had 12 hospital experiences (she had eight inpatient surgeries and I have had 1 inpatient and 3 outpatient surgeries at seven different hospitals). This year, my wife and I were named Outstanding Citizens for 2021. It was an honor that was a great surprise to the both of us and with that honor came some unexpected outcomes. This letter is about abortion. I am pro-choice. You will not believe it as you read this letter, but I will explain later. Let’s discuss what pregnancy is not. It is not a disease, a sickness or virus or an accident. It is 100% controllable by humans. Everybody should know by now that the Supreme Court did not ban abortion. The following is a true event that is ongoing as we write. It is an expose’ of the insanity taking place in our government regarding immigration. We have family in England, including our granddaughter whose 16-year-old friend Pramiti tragically lost both parents and is now orphaned in England. An aunt and uncle in the US, who have been granted parental rights, were advised by immigration lawyers to apply for a student visa to allow Pramiti to come to the U.S. to live with them. On behalf of our local dental hygiene component board members, Superior Sunrise, we would like to express our concerns about possibly removing fluoride from our city water supply. Fluoridation is vital for our community. The science regarding the dental health benefits and the safety of fluoride is well documented and has been known for years. Is there a Christian perspective on abortion? If so, what is it? From earliest times, what we now call abortion, would now be considered infanticide. In Roman times, the most common form was known as “exposure,” allowing a newborn to die after birth in the elements.
