Yesterday, communities across America will celebrate and honored U.S. military veterans for their patriotism, love of county, and willingness to serve during war and peace time. In 1918, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, an armistice ending World War began. It is the origin of Veterans Day, a U.S. holiday. Last week there was a letter from Walt Plohocky about the great care he received from Doc. Beltinck and the team from MyMichigan Health Center Alpena. I just got a total hip replacement from the same group and received the same unbelievable treatment. While you’ve done a fair job adding a conservative voice to the editorial page most days, you continue to use the liberal Associated Press as your national and world news source.
