Terri Lynne Konecki, a loving and faith-filled woman, passed away on May 26, 2023, in Alpena, Michigan. Born on Aug. 8, 1955, in Harrison Township, Michigan, Terri was the daughter of Orrin and Ruth (Dinsmore) McConnell. Terri is survived by her father, Orrin; her son, Keith Konecki; sister-in-law, Karen McConnell; niece, Nicole McConnell; nephew, Scott (Alicia) McConnell; great nieces, Fern and Lilly; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Adam Joseph LaFleche, 45, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, passed away of an apparent heart attack on May 26, 2023, at his home in Houghton Lake. Adam was born Nov. 10, 1977, in Alpena, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Linda (Havermahl) LaFleche. He grew up in Hillman, Michigan, and graduated from Hillman High School in 1996, where he excelled as an athlete on both the basketball and football teams. It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected death of Julie Anne Shiemke. Julie was born on Nov. 21, 1957, in Alpena, Michigan to Richard and Frances Shiemke. Also born on that day was her twin brother, Mark, who now resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife, Susan and family. She is survived by her father, Richard “Moose” (Joyce Kaiser) Shiemke, her twin brother Mark (Susan) Shiemke; their family, and several aunts.
