Nice to see inclusivity in Northeast Michigan

I’m sure there are many Alpena and Posen stories, both known and unknown, that mirror the experiences of Douglas Taratuta and Clint Taratuta-Kendziorski as well as stories that have not had as happy an ending from earlier less enlightened times.

Some very well might have included members of the many family groups that make up my familial heritage. Of interest today, no vendor refused the gentlemen their help in providing services for the ceremony. It’s an interesting real-life prebuttal to last week’s news from Washington. Most people recognize that love is love…and it’s nice that a couple of cities I’m familiar with by family allegiances are right in step with most of the country.

Again, congratulations to Douglas Taratuta and Clint Taratuta-Kendziorski and to the residents of Alpena and Posen for their openness and inclusivity.
