Alpena needs to continue water fluoridation
My daughter (who had not had a cavity in 27 years) moved from the fluoridated water in the State of Michigan to the State of Washington after graduating from college several years ago.
I remember her telling me about her first dental visit after this move when her new dentist asked her which state she was from because, he said, she obviously did not grow up in Washington.
Puzzled, she asked him how he knew that and he answered because Washington does not fluoridate its drinking water.
