Tell us how many people have recovered

A long time ago in Florence, Italy, on May 12, 1980 Florence Nightingale was born to set the standards for modern nursing, and today that standard shows more and more in the way our brave people in the medical field are performing against this terrible virus. I congratulate them all for the magnificent work they are doing in fighting this.

But every night on the local and national news all we hear is how many people have died, NOT how many people have lived. It doesn’t give much hope for people who are wanting to hear “good news” for a change. We should never forget those who have passed on, but put a little more sunshine into this period of great challenge.
