For Alpena’s children, reconsider marijuana
Thanks to The Alpena News for asking citizens to voice their concerns on the marijuana issue.
Understand fully that the pot industry is ultimately targeting Alpena’s children as their next customers.
On David Talbot’s Dec. 7 admission that the dangerous negative effects of marijuana are equal to those of alcohol, why would any Alpena leader want to expose Alpena children to another new poison?
Talbot holds local politicians blameless for this. Think about it. We all know that the medical marijuana plan was just a slick political trick, and the actual intention was to introduce unlimited marijuana to our area. Just follow the money chain. The pot producers need political puppets to expedite their plans.
Today, things that were once considered morally reprehensible and anti-family are now politically correct because of the liberal agenda. One only has to observe same-sex marriage, the 61,000,000 aborted babies or even today’s TV and entertainment industry with its profoundly anti-family content. Who can disagree?
To warn practicing homosexuals that the Bible clearly says their lifestyle will deliver them to the gates of Hell, warning mothers to not abort their children because they will forever regret it or requiring elected city officials to not make drug users out of Alpena children doesn’t make you judgmental or self righteous.
Have the liberals desensitized Americans’ thinking to the point that we believe there is no right or wrong? Do we now totally agree, accept, condone, and enable the “liberal” “progressive” and “humanistic” ideology? Are we willing to negate the Biblical principals this nation once stood for? Where are the people that used to stand up and speak out but are now silent? Especially, where is the church and pastors on these critical moral issues? They need to weigh in!
