Tinker Tuesday, MakerLab, Tech Help canceled

The Alpena County Library has canceled Tinker Tuesday, Open MakerLab on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. There also will not be Tech Help available on those days. 

Long Lake Improvement Association meets Wednesday

The public is welcome to attend a meeting of the Long Lake Improvement Association at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Parker House Restaurant on U.S.-23 North in Presque Isle.

AHS Class of 1953 luncheon July 8

GMA breakfast and program July 11

The Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Good Morning Alpena breakfast and program on Friday, July 11 at E-Free Church Alpena Campus, 500 N. 2nd Ave., Alpena.

Come learn about E-Free Church’s community involvement, as well as local economic development, the Chamber and more.

Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. followed by the program at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $12 per person, and advanced registration is required to info@alpenachamber.com or 989-354-4181.
