VIRGINIA LOUISE BEAULIEU

Virginia Louise Beaulieu, 100, of Alpena passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Turning Brook. Virginia Louise Nordstrand was born in Alpena on Jan. 22, 1922, to the late Alfred and Louise (Zaske) Nordstrand. She married Seymour Beaulieu on Feb. 3, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2009. Virginia was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She retired from Alpena General Hospital in 1979. In retirement, they enjoyed wintering in Clearwater, Florida. She also enjoyed reading, walking, shelling on the beach and traveling with Seymour. Surviving are her two daughters, ...

Darlene Robarge, 91, of Alpena, died on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Davison Family Home. Visitation will take place at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022 from 2pm until 8pm with prayer of the rosary at 3pm and a parish prayer service at 7pm. Visiting will continue on Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church of All Saints Parish from 10am until the Mass of Christian burial at 11am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Joan Diane Straley, 86, of Alpena passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022. Joan was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Alpena to the late Lewis and Ruth (Kalisch) Rosbeck. On Jan. 5, 1957, she married Richard Straley. He passed away on Sept. 23, 1978. Joan worked for many years at Tendercare in medical records and later retired from Alpena Furniture. Surviving are: Judy Burnash, Sue (David) Quintanilla, Martin (Michelle), Denice (Ed) Zarr, Celeste (Gary) Huber, Duane (Malinda), Philip (Shelly), Paul (Suzanne), Anthony (Tracey), and Gerard, 25 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Arlene Dubie, and many cousins.
