Winnifred Chrzan

CHRZAN, Winnifred, 87, of Alpena, died on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022. Family will receive friends for visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Service starting at 7 p.m.. Visiting will continue on Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Tyler Bischoff as celebrant. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. A complete obituary will be announced by Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home in a future edition of The News.

John Cuddie

CUDDIE, John, 65, died unexpectedly on Aug. 11, 2022. Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Squires-Nutt); daughters Nicole, Caitlin, Michelle and Theresa; and sons Bradley and Gary. Also surviving are eight brothers, seven sisters, and six grandchildren. A veteran, John will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 26, 2022. A ‘Celebration of Life’ will follow at the American Legion Post #63, 8047 Ortonville Rd, Clarkston.

Thomas Joseph McMahon

McMAHON, Thomas Joseph, died Aug. 16, 2022 following a hard-fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Tom is survived by his wife, Dawn; his two daughters, Sarah (Rob) Redman and Erin (Jeff)Tait; two grandchildren, Anna and Kendall. Also surviving are his stepchildren, Tom (Jennifer) Brown, Janis Brown, Kathryn (Robert) Adams, Jonathan (Michelle) Wood; and stepgrandchildren, Lauren (Harrison), Zachary, Jenifer, Desiree (Nick), Sydney, Erin, and Ella. Susan Mousseau

MOUSSEAU, Susan, died after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. She is survived by 10 siblings, Richard, Imelda (William) Gallagher, Walter (Janet), Daniel, Fidelis (Jan) Michel, Carl, Roger (Karen), Yvonne Smith, Greg, and Dr. Vincent (Kim). A private family celebration of Susan’s life will be held at a later date.

PALMER, Randy K., 79, of Onaway, died July 1, 2022 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital, Petoskey. Randy is survived by husband Jack, daughters Katherine Biland and Tracy Palmer, son John (Hannah), sisters Barb Hancock, Marion Hancock, Sandy (Don) Roberts, Patty (Billy) Raushi, and Peggy (Rick) Cashen, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
