VIRGINIA LOUISE BEAULIEU

Virginia Louise Nordstrand was born in Alpena on Jan. 22, 1922, to the late Alfred and Louise (Zaske) Nordstrand. She married Seymour Beaulieu on Feb. 3, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2009. Virginia was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She retired from Alpena General Hospital in 1979. In retirement, they enjoyed wintering in Clearwater, Florida. She also enjoyed reading, walking, shelling on the beach and traveling with Seymour.

Surviving are her two daughters, Karen (Harry) Clark, Janine (Gene) Grefe; four grandchildren, Tony (Thresa) Clark, David (Penny) Clark, Michael Gagnon, Jamie (Haru) Grefe; seven great-grandchildren, Reese, Kianna, Jake, Alexandra, Ada May, Primo, Rainer; two great-great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Layne; and a sister-in-law, Judy Nordstrand.

Mrs. Beaulieu was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred Nordstrand, Vernon Nordstrand and Robert Nordstrand.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Shipman officiating.
