Mitchell “Mitch” Budnik, 69, of Posen passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at his home after a long-fought battle with diabetes. The son of Theophilus and Antoinette (Strzelecki) Budnik was born in Rogers City on Dec. 1, 1953. He graduated from Posen High School and was united in marriage to Clara Bellmore on April 8, 1972. Together, for the last 50 years they raised their family on East Metz Highway, “Budnikville”, in Posen, Michigan. Marie Troy, 87, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Marie Beland was born April 14, 1935, in Alpena to the late Samuel and Lottie (York) Beland. On Oct. 23, 1954, she married Dennis Troy. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1996. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Marie enjoyed puzzles and watching game shows. Linda Ray (Moore) Lauer, age 85, passed away peacefully at Harborview Assisted Living & Hospice in DeTour Village on March 10, 2023. She was born in Clarksville, Arkansas, on Aug. 6, 1937, to John Raymond and Anna (Dickerson) Moore.
