Marie Troy

Marie Beland was born April 14, 1935, in Alpena to the late Samuel and Lottie (York) Beland. On Oct. 23, 1954, she married Dennis Troy. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1996.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Marie enjoyed puzzles and watching game shows.

Surviving are her three children, Gayle (Patrick) Kaiser, Laurie (Eugene) Kotwicki, Thomas (Sabrina) Troy; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Julius Gorlewski; and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by five siblings, James Beland, William Beland, Carol Gorlewski, Joan Lane, and Michael Beland.

No service will be held. Cremation arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
