EARLY BIRDIES STARTS MAY 1

The Early Birdies Ladies Golf League will be having an organizational meeting at 10 a.m. on April 24 at the Alpena Golf Club, 1135 Golf Course Rd.

League play starts May 1.

New members are welcome.

HORSE SHOE LEAGUE AT BOLTON BAR STARTS MAY 4

The Alpena Horse Shoe League will have a pre-season tournament on May 4 at Bolton Bar, 9101 Bolton Rd, in Posen.

There will be random draws for partners. Sign-up is at noon and games begin at 1 p.m.

It is $5 per person with double elimination. Payout is to be determined based on the number of entries.
