The National Weather Service is seeking people who want to become weather spotters who are trained to report basic weather information to area meteorologists. On April 30, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., a class will be held at the Alpena County annex building. The class is open to the public and there is no fee to become trained to be a spotter.
