Beginning Monday, the southwest-bound lane of 11th Avenue between Chisholm Street and River Street will be closed to all traffic as the city reopens a detour to circumvent construction on the Bagley Street bridge.

Signs and barricades will block access to the closed section of 11th to alleviate congestion at the intersection. This will allow motorists using the detour route on northbound 11th Avenue additional time to make left turns.

Motorists exiting the adjacent Shell gas station onto 11th Avenue should only turn left, as there will be no access to Chisholm Street from the north.

The resumption of the bridge begins Monday after being suspended during the winter.
