A statewide tornado drill will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. and people can expect to have their cellphones sound an alarm and brief interruptions on television and radio networks.

This week is Severe Weather Week in Michigan and residents are encouraged to devise a plan of action for different types of severe weather including tornadoes, flooding, high winds, and other weather patterns that could disrupt our daily lives and execute it when dangerous weather is near.
