ALPENA — Nobody required transport to the hospital when a Chevy HHR headed northeast on U.S.-23 South collided with a Mazda attempting to turn left onto the road from Paad Court about 9 a.m. Thursday, according to a responder. Paramedics from the Alpena Fire Department, firefighters from the Alpena Township south side fire station, the Alpena County Sheriff’s Department, and a Michigan State Police trooper responded to the scene.
