Black River man arrested for narcotics
A 44-year-old Black River man was arraigned in the 88th District Court on Thursday on charges related to possessing methamphetamines.
Aaron Andrew Long was released on a $20,000 cash bond and will next appear in court on Nov. 18.
Long was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by troopers from the Michigan State Police-Alpena Post around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday on U.S.-23 near Bare Point Road in Alpena Township.
Police searched the vehicle and found a locked tackle box that contained marijuana, baggies, dabs, suspected methamphetamine, and a scale.
Long was arrested and lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
