Jan. 13

9:49 a.m.: A 2 vehicle PD Crash in Briley Township resulted in MCSO deputies, Tri Township Fire and EMS all responding to the scene, no injuries were reported.

Jan. 14

4:11 a.m.: A residential burglar alarm was reported on Ferguson Rd in Hillman Township. MCSO deputies responded and found property to be secure.

9:23 a.m.: A report of shoplifting at Freddie’s was made. MCSO Deputy responded and investigation is ongoing.

8:50 p.m.: MCSO received a call about a possible B&E in progress on Doty St in Briley Township. Deputies responded and spoke with a male outside the apartment. He was looking for a friend’s apartment and had the wrong one.

10:24 p.m.: An MSP trooper conducted a traffic stop in Alpena Co. One female was taken into custody with a warrant out of Montmorency Co. A deputy met the trooper at the county line for a custody exchange. The female was transported to MCSO jail and lodged.

10:54 p.m.: A domestic dispute was reported in the Village of Hillman. MCSO Deputies responded to investigate. The parties were separated.

Jan. 15

5:37 a.m.: A commercial burglar alarm was reported on Salling Ave in Albert Township. A deputy responded to investigate. The alarm company called back to advise it was a false alarm and law enforcement can disregard. The deputy was notified.

5:49 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a drunk and disorderly male at a residence in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to speak with the subject. EMS was requested and the male was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

11:19 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a commercial burglar alarm on M-32 in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to investigate. All was found to be OK and the building was secure.

11:21 p.m.: A domestic dispute in progress was reported on Bay St in Albert Township. A trooper and a deputy responded to investigate. Upon arrival, the trooper was unable to contact the caller and it appeared that a vehicle had just left the residence. He drove around in attempt to locate them but was unable. All clear at 11:38 p.m.

Jan. 16

12:48 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a dispute on Mantz St in Albert Township. A deputy responded to investigate. He spoke with all the parties involved and the female was advised to stay away from the property.

Jan. 17

5:34 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a possible B&E on Livingston St in the Village of Hillman. A deputy responded to investigate. This issue is still under investigation.

2:54 p.m.: A welfare check was requested on an Albert Township resident by a concerned friend, the friend was found to be fine, all officers cleared without incident.

4:48 p.m.: A civil dispute in Albert Township was handled by a MCSO officer.

6:21 p.m.: Car/deer accident was reported near Hillman on M-32 and Edwards Rd. MCSO Deputies and Hillman EMS responded. Parties were checked out by EMS on scene and no one was transported to the hospital.

Jan. 18

1:08 a.m.: Sunrise in Lewiston called to report a small fire by a gas pump. Staff put fire out and shut pump down. Albert Township Fire responded and cleared the scene and pumps were returned to working order.

5:36 a.m.: A resident in Albert Township called to report a vehicle had gone off the road and into his yard, Albert Township Fire, EMS along with MCSO deputies responded to the scene. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied, the driver was located and arrested for OWI, he was lodged on that charge.

2:13 p.m.: A DNR CO initiated a stop of a snowmobile in Albert Township, the driver was found to be operating while intoxicated along with not having a valid driver license. The driver was taken into custody and lodged on those charges.

Jan. 19

5:34 p.m.: A report was made of a truck in the ditch on County Rd 612 just west of Fleming Rd. Albert Township Fire/EMS and Michigan DNR responded, and no injuries were reported.
