Beginning today, the Bay View parking lot adjacent to the Bay View Sportsplex will be closed, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., so a contractor can do parking lot repairs. Barricades will be present during these times. All courts at the Bayview Sportsplex will remain open all day. Alpena officials ask that people find an alternate place to park until the work is complete. The parking lot is scheduled to reopen Friday afternoon, unless construction or weather delays occur.
