Claire Johnson and Karl Skiba exchanged their wedding vows Oct. 20, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church in Traverse City.

The bride is the daughter of Eric and Donna Johnson of Traverse City. The groom is the son of Pete and Lynne Skiba of Alpena.

The bridal party consisted of Emily Aldrich as the maid of honor and Adam Carpenter as the best man, both friends of the bride and groom. Bridesmaids were Amity Aebig, Amy Johnson, Lindy Shelly, Emily Johnson and Hannah Johnson, all sisters of the bride, as well as Reann Gorton and Alex Alward, friends of the bride. Groomsmen were Pete Skiba and Greg Skiba, brothers of the groom, as well as TJ Carpenter, Tom Grace, Bill Johnson, Phil Flesher and Nick Stanek, all friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Adam Hainstock and Brian Campbell, both friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the wedding reception was held at Timberlee Hills in Traverse City. The couple spent their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Claire currently works in Owosso for Baker College as a financial aid specialist. Karl is working in southeast Michigan as a medical device salesman. The couple currently resides in Grand Blanc.
