Paige Ciarkowski

Ciarkowski graduates from GVSU

Paige Michelle Ciarkowski graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, on April 26, 2019, with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice with a minor in juvenile justice.

While at GVSU she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority and Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Ciarkowski is the daughter of Allen and Michelle Ciarkowski of Posen, the granddaughter of Leroy (Butch) and Marcia Woloszyk and Lexie Ciarkowski of Posen.

Ciarkowski resides in Grand Rapids and is currently pursuing a position in her career field.

Onaway’s Fitzpatrick in

Brianna Fitzpatrick of Onaway was one of nearly 150 Alma College students who participated in Alma College’s 23rd annual Kapp Honors Day program on Thursday, April 4.

This day provides a forum when traditional classes are canceled and students share their original research, creativity and talents with an audience of their peers.

In sessions spanning nearly eight hours, students perform in dance productions, give oral presentations of scholarly research, and lead poster discussions.

With a multitude of the student body participating, other students are encouraged to attend as many presentations as possible both to support their fellow students and to learn from them.

Fitzpatrick is majoring in physics/English. Fitzpatrick presented “Of Monsters and Men: A Feminist Analysis and Comparison of Greek Myth in Rick Riordan’s ‘Percy Jackson’ Series.”honors program at Alma College
