A variety of craft shows and holiday bazaars are set for the coming days and weeks.

Events happening this Saturday include:

∫ The APlex will host “Wishing for Christmas Arts & Crafts Show,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 701 Woodward Ave. in Alpena. Enter to win one of two $100 cash prizes. For more information, call 989-354-6164.

∫ Alpena Knights of Columbus will host a holiday arts and crafts show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the K of C Hall, 1880 Hamilton Road, Alpena.

∫ A fall craft show will be held in conjunction with the Alpena Farmers Market at the Alpena Mall. Hours for the craft show are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the farmers market is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, or for booth space, call 989-356-9016.

∫ First Presbyterian Church of Alpena will host a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

∫ The St. Augustine Annual Arts and Craft Show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hillman Community Center on Veterans Memorial Hwy in Hilllman, featuring crafts and gifts for all ages, a bake sale, and luncheon.

∫ Hope Lutheran Church will hold a holiday bazaar and soup and salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 5462 W. Nicholson Hill Road in Hubbard Lake. The luncheon is $8 per person.

∫ Immanuel Lutheran School’s 7th Annual Sweets and Shopping Event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Events set for Saturday, Nov. 17, include:

∫ A holiday bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to noon at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rogers City, featuring Christmas cookie plates, baked goods, homemade pasties, arts and crafts and fresh green arrangements.

∫ Spruce Lutheran Church will hold its holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a homemade soup and dessert lunch, cookie walk, baked goods, jams, homemade candy, homemade noodles, home-canned goods, including beets, sauerrkraut, pickles and tomatoes. Crafts and handmade items, and gently used Christmas items will be available. The church is at 1246 E. Spruce Road, Spruce, three miles west of F-41.

∫ Spruce Presbyterian Church will hold a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 6230 Gillard Road, Spruce. The bazaar will include a tin can raffle/gift baskets, bake sale, Rada cutlery, Fair Trade products, crafts, evergreen balls, handmade mittens and other knit items, and Pampered Chef items, soaps and lotions, jewelry and clothing.

∫ Peace Lutheran Bazaar, bake sale and quiche brunch will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the church, 1401 M-68 Hwy., Rogers City.

Saturday, Nov. 24 events include:

∫ St. Michael Lutheran School will hold a Christmas bazaar, bake sale and soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school, 5932 Co. Rd. 451 in Belknap, six miles south of Rogers City.
