Oliver and Kathleen DeRocher

Oliver and Kathleen (Hammermeister) DeRocher of Alpena celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

The DeRochers were married at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Black River on June 23, 1956.

The couple has four children: Linda (Skip) Maccarone of Shelby Township, Patti (Harold) Truman of Lincoln, Cindy DeRocher of Ossineke and Jim (Connie) DeRocher of Ossineke. They have also been blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
