Posen — Netta’s Nursery will host a Perennial Preview and special guest presentation on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at its location in Posen.

The event will feature Nicholaus Jenkins, a home gardener and content creator behind the popular YouTube channel Nick’s Backyard Blooms. Based in Grove City, Ohio, Jenkins shares practical gardening advice and project-based content. His areas of focus include home landscapes, raised bed gardening, backyard greenhouse growing, and container gardening.

As part of the event, Jenkins will present a talk at 11 a.m. on perennials for containers, highlighting reliable plant selections and offering straightforward tips on care, maintenance, and overwintering.

In addition to the presentation, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Netta’s Nursery’s Perennial Preview in Greenhouse #7, featuring a selection of plants for the upcoming season.

“This is a great chance for local gardeners to get an early look at what’s coming in and learn how to use perennials in a different way,” said Corey Taratuta, of Netta’s Nursery. “Nicholaus does a great job of breaking things down in a practical, approachable way.”

The event is free and open to the public. Netta’s 2026 season officially begins on May 1st.
