James and Susan Ohlrich, of Alpena, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today.

James Ohlrich and Susan Kinsel were married on July 26, 1975, at St. John the Baptist Church in Alpena.

James retired from the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center grounds. Susan retired from Blarney Castle.

The couple has two children, Melissa (Ed) Hoskinson, and Jamie (Chad) Robillard, a grandson, Cole, and grand-doggies Mya and Riley.

They are celebrating their anniversary by making new memories with their family.
