Jack and Janice (Maciejewski) Kauffman were married on Oct. 15, 1960, at St. Mary’s Church in Alpena, by Monsignor Gatzke.

The couple recently celebrated with family at the Courtyard Restaurant in Alpena, hosted by their children, Craig Kauffman of Chicago, Christin Bennett of Jenison, Lisa Fought of Harbor Springs, and Connie Brown of Sterling Heights.

Jack and Janice Kauffman have nine grandchildren.

Members of the original wedding party who attended the celebration include Arlen Wallace, Marlene Barkley, Diane Kowalski, and Marge Betoski, all of Alpena. Everyone had a wonderful time.
