JoAnn and Gordon F. Bennett III celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 16. Gordon and the former JoAnn Jones met after he returned home from being stationed in Spain for three years with the U.S. Air Force.

The couple celebrated with their daughter Jodi, (Thomas Conti), and their son, Gordon F. Bennett IV (Lisa). They also have been blessed with four grandchildren: Gordon F. Bennett V, Taylor and Madison Bennett, and Teagan Conti.

They kicked off their celebration earlier this year in Florida with a dinner party at Silver Spring Country Club with their winter friends. The party continues with their Michigan family and friends at Lost Lake Woods Club on May 31. Their celebration will be topped off with a Mediterranean cruise with their children and grandchildren in July.
