George and Bette Bromund

George R. and Bette Bromund (nee Matchem) of 618 Red Robin Road, Seffner, Florida 33584, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17. The celebration will be hosted by daughters Denise (Ted) Cranmer of Riverview, Florida, and Lisa Murray of Flint, Michigan, sons Len (Kris) Bromund of Presque Isle, Michigan, and William Bromund of Brooksville, Florida.

Bette turns 90 on Oct. 31.

George and Bette were married on Oct. 17, 1953.

George and Bette raised six children in Alpena. Two sons have passed away: Steven (deceased 1976) and David (deceased 1988).

George and Bette have four grandchildren: Maggie (Josh), Mitch (Angie), Sean, and Renee; and four great-grandchildren: Josephine, Frances, Jayce, and Levi.
